From GitHub
- Choose New, then Website or app, and connect GitHub. Pick the repository and its branch.
- Wattle Cloud works out how to build it (Railpack), or uses your Dockerfile. Every push to the branch deploys again.
- When it's live, it has an address like
https://my-app.wattlecloud.app.
From a template
Templates make an app, its database and its settings in one go: Next.js, Express, FastAPI, Django, Laravel, Rails, Go, Bun, WordPress, Ghost, n8n, Plausible and more.
From your computer
Install the command line tool, sign in, and deploy the folder you're in. It needs Node.js 20 or newer.
curl -fsSL https://app.wattlecloud.com/cli/install.sh | sh # macOS, Linux irm https://app.wattlecloud.com/cli/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell wattle login wattle link my-app wattle up
Add a database
Choose New, then Database, and pick an engine. In your app's Variables tab, point a variable at it with a reference, and deploy:
DATABASE_URL=${{postgres.DATABASE_URL}}The app reaches the database over your environment's private network. Databases has the rest.
